Mark Fuller sent us this video demonstration of human mousetrap 3D printer. Love this design simple power of gravity. Mark says that made the trap with the help of the Rapid Prototyping class at the University of Pennsylvania Technology (www.pct.edu). The device was printed on the uPrint dimension, a little less than six hours.

MAKE Volume 21 is the manufacture desktop theme, with articles on the procedures for making three-dimensional parts by manufacturing low-cost computers controlled. Both additive (RepRap, CandyFab) and subtractive (Micro Lumenlab CNC) systems are covered. Also in this issue: instructions for making a cigar box guitar, building your own CNC for less than $ 800, running a mini electric motorbike with a cordless drill, making a picture magic cube and more. 1. For designers, seeing and touching design prototypes dramatically can change the way they work and reduce time to market. Companies that have switched from handmade or outsourced 3d modelling to inhouse 3D Printing Technology have seen drastic reductions in cost and creation time from months to a couple weeks!
